| DTI's Ms. Mariden Calub shows guests around the new pasalubong center. With the recent expansion of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Marinduque office (they have moved to a new address at Isok II, Boac, Marinduque across the Marinduque National High School campus), the Marinduque Pasalubong Center was also launched. |

This means that labor-intensive local products such as handicrafts, home decors, souvenir items and accessories, and bottled or packaged food products may now be bought by visitors and tourists in retail from the said pasalubong center. These products come from Marinduque’s six municipalities. |

Sampling of these local Marinduque products are shown in this post, together with some of their prices (retail and wholesale prices are indicated as the case may be). DTI has been a major part of the development of most of these products, from the training of would-be workers to product design, development and marketing. Participation of producers of these items in trade fairs and exhibits, as well as linkages are also undertaken by DTI Marinduque. |
