Marinduque silhouette
View from Tablas Strait near the three islands of Gaspar, Melchor and Balthazar (named after the Three Magi), of the southernmost portion of Marinduque mainland. Malindig volcano (1,157 meters) makes a stately silhouette dwarfing Bellarocca Island, the famed 6-star resort seen at right. A long stretch of quiet beaches from the Buenavista coastal villages of Daykitin, Caigangan, Barangay Uno, Libas to Lipata await visitors. Buenavista town is also known for its sulphur and hot springs.
