A long stretch of white-sand beach in Barangay Poctoy in Torrijos town is considered the finest and most accessible white sand beach in mainland Marinduque.
It is the most popular place on the island in summertime. Summer activities include beach volleyballs, bikini opens, and more recently, kayaking. Crave for fresh marine catch brought in by local fishermen.

The Battle of Pulang Lupa Historical Site is where a major Filipino victory during the Philippine-American War transpired. To reach this spot, hikers may wish to trek 3 kilometers uphill overlooking cliffs and simply spectacular views of the valleys, the Malindig volcano and the coast of Torrijos.

The women buntal-weavers of Barangay Matuyatuya and Bonliw produce much sought-after table runners and placemats that are popular gift items even among the chi-chi crowd. Known collectively as Torrijos loom-weavers these women also mix other materials such as nito vines, wild cogon grass, coconut fibers, corn husks and stalks to produce other utility or decorative products.

Torrijos has a well-manicured seaside park named after its Luneta Park inspiration that’s a favorite picnic ground in the morning, and lover’s tryst in the evening. Torrijos is also home to Beach Club Cagpo that invites visitors with its tagline “come and join our dream on a serene setting”. It guarantees good food, enchanting evenings and simply awesome experience under its Australia/German-Filipino management.
