After a whole week of cloudy skies "HULING HIRIT SA TAG-INIT III" goes on today at Poctoy White Sand Beach. This year features "BIKINI OPEN" with prizes at Php 10,000 (1st place), Php 7,000 (2nd place), Php 5,000 (3rd place) and consolation prizes of Php 1,000 to a maximum of 20 participants. Show starts at 6:00 pm.
"BEACH VOLLEYBALL" (Men's and Women's) starts at 9:00 am with prizes at Php 5,000 (1st place), Php 3,000 (2nd place), Php 2,000 (3rd place).
Event coordinator, Toper "Spiderman" Matienzo has also announced that free Fire-Dancing Lessons will be held at 4:00 pm.
Last year's Huling Hirit included a Battle of the Bands competition won by "Trademark" with runners-up "New Born Story" and "Sep-Anxie". Beach Volleyball was then won by the Boac Team with runners-up Cagpo team and Poctoy Team. Ms. Huling Hirit sa Tag-init was last won by Jenamae Pidrielva of Maranlig with Lalaine Angeles of Sta. Cruz as 1st Runner-up.
Now on its third year, "HULING HIRIT SA TAG-INIT" is sponsored by Congressman Lord Allan Velasco and Torrijos Mayor Gil Briones.
